I had the best time ever going to BBB's It was
fantastic the staff are lovely and really put you at ease!!!
i found my perfect dress and cried!!!!!!!!!!!!! The staff are
really helpful and put you so much at ease i was stripped off
towards the end and didnt care about my wobbly bits!!! Some
of the dresses i had to have pinned to me as they were too big!!
ive never had that before!!! it was fantastic and still now

I have just had a fab half an hour (would have
spent more time there - but didn't need it!!) buying a ball
dress from BBB!!!!!!! I have got a posh ball to go to in Dec
and I needed something that little bit special. Basically the
ball is in Torquay, Simon's boss is paying for us to go, there
is a casino etc etc. So I put my thinking cap on and thought
where the hell I am going to find a really nice ball dress -
that looks a million dollars and is in my size. I rummage through
ebay and thought mmm £40 dresses will they look £40 dresses?
I ordered a number of items from simply be and when they came,
the material wasn't right - made me look even fatter than I
am already. So I gave Suzanne a call. Popped in this morning
and tried two dresses on and WOW this chocolate one was given
to me - and I tried it on and its perfect. So girls the summary
of my story is : Big Beautiful Brides dont just cater for the
Bridal market - they cater for Bridesmaids and Evening wear!!!
Perhaps they should add a sub title to their name too!!! If
you do need a ball dress - check out Suzanne's/Marie's range

Just thought I'd say Im so excited now, went for
an appointment at BBB yesterday, Suzanne was brillant I got
to try on lots of dresses and guess what, picked the very first
one I tried on isn't that always the way, I must admit I was
really nervous about going infact Suzanne said I looked really
anxious when I walked in but I couldn't have been more wrong
the 2 hours flew by and I had a ball trying on lots of different
styles Im getting really excited about the wedding now. Anyone
out there who is wondering whether to go and choose a dress
from BBB I can't recommend it enough, just go you will feel
like a princess and look it as well, if I can stand in front
of that mirror and think wow I look lovely when the most I expected
was to try and look at least half decent then anyone will look
fantastic, they really know their stuff there. We may have to
travel, 160 miles in my case, but reading this forum I can see
that most people have travelled quite a distance but wasn't

I would like to thank you all again for all the
help I had during dress shopping. Being 6ft 2 tall and a larger
bride made dress shopping a nightmare prospect for me, if I
could fit into a dress in a shop, then it would most likely
fall somewhere around my knees. Plus the idea of standing there
in your underwear with strangers never fills anyone with delight,
let alone anyone over a size sixteen. But, I was made to feel
very comfortable, all of the dresses in the shop fitted me and
some were even too big, which is a fantastic experience. The
appointments are a great idea, you don’t feel rushed at all
and it gives you plenty of time to retry on dresses as well.
The dress that I eventually bought was the one picked by the
lady in the shop, I didn’t even like it on the hanger, but as
soon as it was on, I knew it was the one. In fact, I travelled
from Scotland purely on the basis of recommendations from other
people. On the day I received no end of comments about my dress,
in fact, the photographs don’t do the embroidery justice and
my seamstress said how well the dress was made. I also bought
my tiara and veil from your store and many people commented

To Everybody at Big Beautiful Brides, I just wanted
to write to say thank you all so much for everything that you
have done for me. Until I arrived at your shop I felt that my
whole wedding would be over shadowed by the fact that I wouldn’t
feel comfortable and gorgeous in my dress. I felt that I didn’t
fit the profile of a bride! I had been into a few other wedding
dress shops and told that I would have to squeeze into a size
12 (I’m an 18!) and see what I thought! How are you supposed
to feel gorgeous if you're spilling out over the sides! I found
3B's on the internet and was instantly excited! After reading
other testimonials I booked to have an appointment! It was the
best decision! From the moment I arrived I felt very comfortable.
It was a lovely relaxed atmosphere and everybody made me feel
at ease! I tried on loads of dresses (which all did up!) and
felt amazing! For the first time I felt excited about my wedding!
I decided on a gorgeous dress that makes me feel like a princess!
Everybody will be so surprised by my choice! Usually a cover
up and shy away from the limelight, well, there is no chance
of that in this dress! I would highly recommend going to see
these amazing people to anybody who has feminine curves! Once
you have been into the shop and ordered your dress the aftercare
service is just as professional. I've been after something unusual
for my bridesmaids and 3B's have made numerous phone calls for
me! We've now found the perfect look! I can't wait for my wedding

Having changed my mind about wanting a "proper" wedding dress
with only 4 weeks to go, it was so nice to walk into your shop
and have a real choice of gorgeous dresses I could fit into
(I tried on 7 or 8, which all had to be pinned as they were
too big!). Most importantly, I was able to find the one I loved,
and take it away with me that day!! As a size 20, most other
bridal shops had absolutely nothing that would even come close
(the main reason I hadn't looked for one in the first place).
I am so glad your shop can provide such a wonderful service
for us more shapely brides :-) Plus, it was funny being described
as "quite little"!! The day went really well, the sun came out,
and we had some great photos taken at the hotel, and up on Curbar
Edge - I actually love how I look in the photos, which is a
first for me :-)) Many, many thanks again for all your help!

I went to BBB'S on Friday for my first appointment
and travelled for hours to get there! It was absolutely worth
it! Sam was lovely and I have never felt more comfortable in
my undies! The dresses were beautiful and there were many to
choose from! I chose my perfect dress and didn't want to get
back into my jeans! It was a lovely day and I'm so glad I found
out about the shop! If you're not sure about going especially
if you have a long drive, trust me its worth it! I can't wait
until September when my dress should be in!!! I'm so excited

I had an appointment on Tuesday which, for some
reason, I was really apprehensive about. Instead it was fantastic
fun. Really relaxed, friendly. I wasn't rushed but was given
useful guidance and tips. Expert advice and I am over the moon
about the dress I finally chose which is just perfect. I'm getting
married in September. I cannot recommend BBB too highly and
my only suggestion would be to clone your staff. mcginc91

I went to a few bridal shops before I came to see you and I
honestly wish I had saved time by coming to you first. I bought
the second dress that I tried on and knew it was perfect for
me. Each time I came to the shop I felt excited and was welcomed
by you all. You turned an experience I was concerned about into
a real pleasure. I was so impressed that I bought my bridesmaid's
dresses at Big Beautiful Brides too. All 3 of them looked stunning
on the day in a style that suited them all. When it got to the
big day on 18th November 2006 I couldn't wait to put the dress

hi just wanted to say thanks to Sam for making me feel at ease
and picking the perfect dress for me 1st time!! she is an asset
to your "life saving" shop. My appointment was on 15/2/07 and
I couldn't sleep the previous night I was so nervous but was
put at ease, when Sam suggested the dress to try I was very
unsure it was me being big,and 43 years old!,when I looked in
the mirror it was as if I was looking at my head and someone
elses body for the first time ever I lived what I saw thankyou

To Big Beautiful Brides, I came in on Monday 5th Feb 2007 with
my tribe and had the most fantastic time. Was offered drinks
when we came in which made it feel relaxed straight away. There
was such a fantastic range of dresses that I thought I would
never find "the one", but with Sam's help I found it and it
looked lovely on me which I never thought would happen with
a dress!!! I can't wait to see my partners face on the day.

the internet. I just wanted to say how much I admire the fact
that you have set up this shop. I am a size 22 and married in
2000, I am now unfortunately divorced but IF! my new partner
